Farmyard Friends

 Daisy Mae

Daisy Mae is our gorgeous German Shepherd girl.  She is a fierce protector of our home and family, while also being such a sweet, loving dog to us.  Nobody gets past the watchful eye of Daisy Mae, which makes all of us feel so much more secure.  She's an integral part of our family as well as the demo dog for my dog training business.  We love her dearly!

Douglas

Meet Douglas, our incredible Maremma Livestock Guardian Dog!  He takes his job as the goats' personal bodyguard very seriously, keeping a watchful eye on his herd day and night. While he's all business when it comes to protecting his farm, he's the sweetest, most gentle giant with us. We couldn’t ask for a better guardian and farm companion!

Roo

Roo is a retired breeding buck who has come to spend his retirement with us.  He lives in with the younger bucks to keep them in line and teach them how to behave.  He's a beautiful boy that is so sweet.  We are so glad to have him here!

Sparky

Sparky is our Nigerian Dwarf wether.  He is Bad Ann's brother and they really like to get into mischief together!  He is a beautiful rich brown with moonspots and lots of white splashes along with bright blue eyes!  He is a feisty guy that gets into lots of trouble.  He just loves to nibble on us while looking as cute as can be!  But honestly he is way too cute to stay mad at!

Harriet and Harry

Harriet and Harry are our Barbados Blackbelly sheep, and they’re quite the adorable duo!  Cousins and best friends, you’ll almost always find them side by side exploring the pasture. Their important job here on the farm is helping keep things tidy by eating the tough, invasive weeds that none of the other animals will touch — and they make the work look extra cute while doing it!

Our Chickens

We have a wonderful barnyard mix of chickens that are ever changing as far as number and breeds!  They free range all over, keeping weeds and bugs down. They are a friendly bunch and so much fun to watch.  They also provide the most delicious eggs!

Our Muscovy Ducks

We have a few Muscovy ducks that are mainly just for fun. We enjoy watching them waddle around, they eat flies, and the dogs love their eggs! They are very unique looking creatures!

The Cats

The resident mousers and general sweethearts! We really love our cats!

Welcome to the farm, Harry!
