About Us/Contact

Hi, I’m Tara — happy wife, homeschool mom to three amazing boys, and lifelong animal lover. Our little homestead, nestled just outside Reedley, California, is where family and farm life come together in the best possible way. We share our days with a lively mix of cattle, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, dogs, and cats — each one bringing its own charm, mischief, and joy to life here on the farm.

Over the years, we’ve found joy in living by nature’s rhythm — letting the weather, seasons, and animals guide our days. Every sunrise brings new chores and new blessings, and every sunset reminds us how good simple living can be.

Every animal here is raised with love and daily attention. Our Dexter cattle are halter-trained, calm, and gentle; our Nigerian Dwarf goats are friendly, affectionate, and socialized from birth; and our Mini Australian Shepherd puppies are hand-raised with care and loving attention. From time to time, we have animals available for new homes — each one well-socialized, gentle, and ready to bring joy to their new families.

Alongside our homestead, we also run K-9 Action, our home-based dog training and boarding business. It’s a labor of love that allows us to help families enjoy calmer, happier dogs through personalized, effective training classes and also provides a secure place for your dog to stay when you are out of town. We also offer trainer-supported online courses, so you can learn from home with real guidance and ongoing support.

Be sure to check the tabs above to learn more about each of our beloved animals, see which ones are currently available for new homes, and explore the handmade products and training opportunities we offer.

We’d love to hear from you — whether you’re curious about a goat kid, interested in a class, or just want to say hello!
