Hi, I'm Tara, the heart behind Gracie Acres. Together with my family, I spend my days caring for our animals and enjoying life on our small homestead. What started as a small homestead dream has grown into a passion for raising friendly Nigerian Dwarf goats and sharing the joy they bring with others.
Our goats are truly one of the greatest joys of life on the farm. We love their playful personalities, beautiful colors, rich milk, and the way each one brings something unique to our herd. We believe that great goats should be more than productive, they should also be friendly, enjoyable companions that fit naturally into family and homestead life.
Our journey with goats wasn't perfect from the beginning. The first goats we owned were not friendly or well-socialized, and the experience taught us just how important temperament is. When we decided to try again, we carefully selected quality goats with excellent dispositions and made socialization a priority from day one. It made all the difference.
Today, we spend time with our goats every day, handling kids from birth and raising goats that are friendly, beautiful, productive, and a pleasure to own. Whether they're following us around the pasture, greeting us at the gate, or providing rich, delicious milk for the homestead, our goats are truly part of the family.
