Hi, I’m Tara — happy wife, homeschool mom to three amazing boys, and lifelong animal lover. Our little homestead, nestled just outside Reedley, California, is where family and farm life come together in the best possible way. We share our days with a mix of cattle, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, dogs, and cats — each one bringing its own charm and joy to life here on the farm.
Every animal here is raised with love and daily attention. Our Dexter cow is halter-trained, calm, and gentle; our Nigerian Dwarf goats are friendly, affectionate, and socialized from birth; and our Mini Australian Shepherds are loving, active companions. From time to time, we have animals available for new homes — each one well-socialized, gentle, and ready to bring joy to their new families.
Alongside our homestead, we also run K-9 Action, our home-based dog training and boarding business. It’s a labor of love that allows us to help families enjoy calmer, happier dogs through personalized, effective training classes and also provides a secure place for your dog to stay when you are out of town. We also offer trainer-supported online courses, so you can learn from home with real guidance and ongoing support.
