We use livestock guarding dogs to protect our goats, cow and chickens, secure our property perimeter, and help keep our family safe. They are incredibly loving and gentle with those they know, yet tough and fearless when it matters. We are deeply attached to them and truly value the important work they do every day. Douglas

Meet Douglas, our incredible Maremma Livestock Guardian Dog!  He takes his job as the goats' personal bodyguard very seriously, keeping a watchful eye on his herd day and night. While he's all business when it comes to protecting his farm, he's the sweetest, most gentle giant with us. We couldn’t ask for a better guardian and farm companion.

Osita

Osita was born in September 2025 and is a Maremma/Anatolian Shepherd cross. She has been with baby goats and adult goats 24/7 since the day she was born, learning her role as a livestock guardian from the very beginning. Osita is incredibly sweet, calm, and gentle, with a quiet confidence that makes her a natural protector—and she’s just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. We can’t wait to watch her grow up and reach her full potential.
